HSPT

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a 2.5 hour test only for 8th graders, offered in the fall of 8th grade year. It has 298 questions and is divided into five sections: Reading, Math, Verbal, Quantitative, and Language Skills. Our approach builds on your child’s existing knowledge, teaches them the optimal mindsets for each section, and teaches deep concept knowledge that transfers to their classwork, too.

It’s often offered at Catholic schools. Local schools that require the HSPT include St. Ignatius, Magnificat, St, Edward, Beaumont.
